Finally in the top 100,000

I noticed few days ago a significant increase in this blog's Alexa traffic rank . The previous traffic rank was 1,373,397 and now it is at 446,036 (the lower the number the higher the rank). Still a low rank but it definitely is better than what it was before and according to my prediction in the next month it should me anywhere around 150,000 .

One more thing I also noticed that now I see the traffic history graph for this blog which means that according to Alexa traffic ranking system , I am now in the top 100,000 ranked sites which is great.

Still a long way to go to get a higher traffic ranking for this blog for which a lot of hard work and dedication is required.

Rabbits eating time out !

Today I took my grandfather to a dermatologist where I spotted these red eyed rabbits . These are called Albino rabbits somewhat shy but most of the time will show up when they smell food near by. And that is exactly what they did when a lady brought with her some bread pieces along with a mixture of few vegetables . They attacked the food like there is no one around and then I did what was required because I never miss such an opportunity . I shot them (of course with my mobile cam what were you thinking) and you can see they are enjoying their sweet crispy and nutritious brunch !

After they had enough they decided to take a shadow bath .




I decided to leave the couple alone so that they can have some rest because it was time to leave the clinic.

Photo fever

I have this strange habit of attaching photos to most of my blog posts which I still haven't figured out why I do this. You can see my previous posts and say now what the heck this photos has to do with this blog post . Well most of the time the pictures are relevant like in my post about a rise in alexa rankings of this blog and in my blog posts about the google bot experiment .

On the other hand in my most recent post about free one way link directories , I had attached a photo of few children having some ice cream. I still don't know why I do this but I like this and I will keep doing this .

Traffic stats for May'08

According to my Google Analytics repost , traffic to KashifBLog.com is 180% the traffic received in April'08 . As you can see from the above screen shot that traffic from referring sites is more than the traffic from search engines as well as direct traffic . Since this is not a very old blog so it will take some time to receive more traffic from search engines for which I keep working. Although the traffic is better but still very low traffic at an average of around 45 UV/day.

Most of the traffic for this blog comes from blogging communities like Blogcatalog ,MyBlogLog,forums and not to forget Entrecard !

The good part is that over 40% traffic is from US and the rest from different parts of the world .This is going to come in handy when setting price for advertising on this blog which I haven't done so far .
