Blogger was having some technical issues for the past few days as a result of which I was unable to update this blog so sorry readers if you find the same posts each day . Therefore, from this moment onwards I will keep this blog updated at least bi-weekly. I am sure you must have noticed few additions to my blog .I have added two more widgets . Both are assumed to bring me more traffic and hopefully more readers .
The first one is the Blogrush widget in the left side column. It is supposed to show post titles from other blogs that are somewhat relevant to my blog . You can choose different color widgets . I selected this one since it blends well into my template. I was not familiar nor aware of how this will bring me traffic until I signed in to my Blogrush account ads the now many times my post have been syndicated or appeared on other such blogs . I was very much disappointed to know that out of 564 syndications for my blog posts only one visitor came to my site through this widget .
Although this is a very low percentage, but it is free traffic and you do not have to do anything to get traffic from Blorrush network of blogs . The good thing is that this percentage can be increased by referring other bloggers to join Blogrush through your invitation . This will increase the traffic to your blog since your blog posts will now also be syndicated through their Blogrush widgets . Therefore, the more bloggers you invite the higher are the chances of getting more traffic.
The second widget I have installed is of MyBlogLog . This is also a cool looking widget since it displays the picture of recent visitors to your blog and also a link to their MyBlogLog profile . MyBlogLog is not just a widget provider, but it is a kind of community for bloggers and a rather huge one.
